New York artist Dean Russo has always loved animals and art, thus his love for painting
dogs and cats as his preferred subjects. Attending The School of Visual Arts and Pratt Institute in New York City
as well as his backround in graphic and fine arts, has led to his unique style of painting.
He is a proud member of The Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition and
The Brooklyn Arts Council.
Dean Russo works in a variety of mediums, including acrylic, mixed media,
graphite and collage and prefers to work on canvas. He has a full schedule of commissioned portraits of dogs,
cats, horses, and people.
His art is owned by clients worldwide. He is kept busy with pet portrait
commissions as well as painting for competitions, gallery shows and his own portfolio.
